El Solitario
It is a red wine that has aged for 20 months. It has good acidity and alcoholic levels, bottled one year after the completion of the fermentation process. It has a medium body and is structured.
It goes well with Chinese, Japanese, Thai food and strong cheeses. It is recommended to drink it cold, between 12° and 14° C.
Vintage 2018
It was an atypical year, varied climate, winter was mild, spring was hot and summer was very hot with cloudy days. There were numerous vigorous outbreaks. The flow of the Huaura river was abundant and it rained sporadically.
The wine
The harvest took place in March 2018, the brix was 24 degrees, Quebranta and Malbec grapes in very good conditions from El Álamo were used in equal parts.
It is a red wine aged for 20 months. It has good acidity and alcoholic levels, bottled one year after the completion of the fermentation process. It has a medium body and is structured. Pisco is added to the quebranta musts to stop fermentation and preserve its sweetness and some sugars. Then it is combined with malbec.
